Q. How do I submit an Interlibrary Loan request?
Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service for IWU faculty, staff and students. ILL provides access to research materials that are not owned or subscribed to by the Jackson Library.
To submit an ILL request do one of the following:
- Log into the ILL website at: https://illiad.indwes.edu
- Select the material type and complete the request form.
You may request:- Books
- Book Chapters
- Articles
- DVD/CDs
- Complete all required fields and any other fields that you are able to complete
- Answer the questions regarding language and date that the loan is not needed
- Submit your request
OR if you are in QUICKSearch or any EBSCOhost database
- Click on the link Request this item through Interlibrary Loan
- This link will take to the login page for ILL
- Log into the ILL site using your IWU username and password
- The appropriate ILL form will be populated with the information for you loan
- Answer the questions regarding language and date that the loan is not needed
- Submit your request
Books are typically available for pick up within 7-10 business days.
Articles are typically ready to download within 3-5 business days.
